COLOTRUST (Colorado Local Government Liquid Asset Trust) is Colorado's original and largest pooled investment trust. Designed specifically for Colorado local governments, COLOTRUST began operations on January 1, 1985 and has current combined assets over $4 billion. The purpose of COLOTRUST is to provide Colorado local governments with convenient short-term investment opportunities carefully selected to optimize interest earnings while at the same time maximizing safety and liquidity. A twelve member Board of Trustees, comprising active members of the pool and elected by the Participants, oversees the management of COLOTRUST.
